Agent Chat Has 177 Actions Now, and 85 of Them Ask First
Last updated: September 2026
Back in July the chat could look up records, send an email or a text, and answer questions about what it found. Since then I've been extending it one area at a time. Today it has 177 actions, one for everything your role can do in the app. Ask for it and it does it.
What "does it" means
Read the March statement and tell me the ADB. Run the statement analysis on Metro Dental. Pull DataMerch on Harbor Construction. What did Fenix decline last quarter, and why. Draft the reply to Marcus about his approval. Text Harbor about their docs. Send the app link to the two new leads. Submit this deal to my top funders. Apply the lender's reply to the deal. What does Alex get paid this cycle after his advance. Build the payroll statements. Invite Sam as a member. Import this CSV. Every Monday morning, check in with my App Out leads.
Each of those is a real action in the registry. The chat reads the PDFs on the deal, so a bank statement question gets answered from the statement, and a funder question gets answered from that funder's actual submissions, approvals, and declines by reason.
It knows where you are
The chat sits on every page, and it knows which page. Tick four rows on the leads table and say "send these the application" and it means those four. Open a deal and ask "what's missing" and it reads that deal. You don't repeat the context the screen already has.
85 of them show a card first
Every action that writes, sends, or moves money renders a confirmation card with the exact arguments before it runs. To, subject, where the draft goes. Which merchant, matched on what, what the lookup costs. Which deal, which funders. You read the card and press the button, or you don't. Which actions get a card is frozen in a test, so nobody can quietly ungate one.
Reads run instantly. Nobody needs a card to look at a deal.
It sees what you see
A member's chat sees that member's deals, the same as the rest of the app. The chat is also never handed the sensitive fields to enumerate: SSNs, EINs, bank and routing numbers, credit scores, and margins stay out of the schema it's shown, so "list every SSN in the book" has nothing to work with. It reads one record's fields only when the person asking already has access to that record.
FUNDesk Pilot
FUNDesk Pilot sits on every deal with five tabs: Chat, Close, Drafts, Rehearse, and Path. Ask about the deal, work the offers, draft the merchant message, practice the call, and see what to do next.
